- 80 year event sponsor of St. Joseph Parish / Joe Town Rocks July 3rd/4th Celebration
- Helped start St. Joseph Historical Society
- Have produced 5 presidents of the St. Joseph Chamber
- Initiated and participated in the “Star City” program in St. Joseph from which the Economic Development Authority evolved
